The accelerated wind is increased by about 1.5 times at the blade tips, causing the turbine to rotate. Since wind energy is proportional to the cube of wind speed, a wind turbine with the same rotor diameter can achieve about 2 to 3 times the power output. ● Quietness The tip vortices generated at the blade tips and the opposing vortices induced by the inner wall of the diffuser cancel each other out as they move downstream, suppressing the tip vortices that are the source of aerodynamic noise, resulting in a significant reduction in noise. Noise measurements for a 3kW machine recorded sound pressure levels below 55dB near the turbine at wind speeds of 5 to 14 m/s. Noise is not a concern even in quiet residential areas. ● Aesthetics Unlike conventional wind turbines with pointed blades that rotate at high speeds, the soft image created by the "ring" of the diffuser surrounding the blades does not detract from the landscape and has a characteristic of blending easily with the surrounding scenery.
